Jersey’s north coast is spectacular. A cliff path runs the entire length and allows access to view the nesting seabirds in summer. Puffins, Razorbills, Fulmars and gulls can be found at various points. Peregrine Falcons breed as do Dartford Warblers, Yellowhammers, Ravens and the occasional Lesser Whitethroat. To view Puffins, ( between April and July only ), Plemont in the north west is the best place .

Getting There

To see the Puffins at Plemont, leave St Ouen’s Bay, on the west coast northwards towards Grosnez ( the north west corner ). Continue past Grosnez on La Rue du Val Bachelier to the Portinfer Tearooms ( worth a stop!) turn left ( north ) into La Route de Plemont. Drive as far as possible and park. Walk east on the cliff path 100m and look down below the holiday camp site for the Puffins in the sea. Perry’s Guide 7E1
